Harvest House

This farm-to-fork Lowveld restaurant takes pride in serving meals made using organic, pesticide-free produce from local farmers, connecting diners with the region. The restaurant is decorated in an industrial style that perfectly suits its bushveld location and has gorgeous views of the distant Drakensberg. Breakfast, which is served until 11am, offers bagels, flatbreads, gourmet granola and fruit, plus a good selection of eggy options. Lunch sees salads and light meals including the likes of an open fillet steak sandwich with caramelised onions, rocket, feta and avo, as well as burgers and toasties. For dinner, try an open vegetarian lasagne made with mushrooms, pesto and spinach, or the Cape Malay lamb curry. Chai panna cotta or baked cheesecake will end things off beautifully. They also host events.
