Spoon Bakery and Eatery

Spoon is a consistent favourite among locals – the decor is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Owners Ruben and Mornéz started a small home bakery that soon blossomed into a café after enjoying success trading at local markets and making cakes to order. Spoon offers a diverse and thoughtfully curated menu that goes beyond the typical coffee shop experience. Breakfasts are categorised into “peckish” and “starving”, so you can easily see what might appeal. There’s also a “Benny bar” with a selection of different ways to enjoy eggs Benedict, and a build-your-plate option so you can create your own breakfast. The Asian-inspired lunch offerings are enticing (the bao and potstickers are great), and there are also burgers, ramen and poké bowls. They also offer delicious cakes and baked goods and freshly baked bread to take home.
