The menu at this restaurant in the Riverlands Mall is focused around the grill, which is used to create flavourful, Portuguese-style favourites. The petiscos (snacks or starters) menu will wake up your taste buds with the likes of beef or chicken trinchado, peri-peri chicken livers, pickled octopus salad, and clams with chorizo, while mains including a Portuguese steak topped with a fried egg and chorizo, beef and chicken espetadas and other grills will satisfy those who are very hungry. Seafood lovers will enjoy the seafood platter, spaghetti vongole (clams), or the Madrista (linguine tossed with prawns, calamari, garlic and chilli). And it wouldn’t be a Portuguese restaurant without peri-peri chicken, which is flame-grilled over an open fire for maximum flavour. Fogo has indoor and outdoor seating, which is very pleasant on a warm day.
